Medicaid

Welcome to the section on Medicaid.

AEAs use the Iowa IDEA applications to basically print Medicaid claim forms and to enter claims for Part C and Part B.  The Central Processing Center (CPC) transmits the claims to EDI, typically twice a month.

In addition, some AEAs enter claims in IMS on behalf of the districts in their service area.  For those districts, the Central Processing Center transmits those claims also.

This section is designed primarily for those personnel who enter Medicaid claim forms or print reports or forms for distribution to staff.
